Compact rail, guarded Fly action, status bar and launch tests.
SpecterFS is the playable combat flight simulator growing out of the Specter project. This page follows the work as it lands: real airfields, computer pilots, carrier operations, strike missions, a globe theatre and the systems planned next.
Every capability below is backed by code, tests and captured frames in the repository.
Major workstreams, from the first combat loop to the world and operations now in the build.
Compact rail, guarded Fly action, status bar and launch tests.
3D Earth, airfield and point picking, background terrain builds.
Air defence, bombers, phases, city scenery and Mission Builder v2.
Moving deck, catapult launch, wires, bolters and recovery cues.
Ground roll, take-off, landing, gear, flaps and touchdown grading.
Computer pilots, IR missiles, flares, lock warnings and damage.
Use the filters to jump between the main workstreams.

The next plan is staged around long-range globe flight, richer naval and city scenarios, aerial refuelling, logistics operations, weather and eventually server-authoritative co-op. Each phase has to be reachable in the UI, deterministic in the fixed-step world and proved by a whole-world test before it earns a status update.
Read the implementation plan in the repository for the full roadmap, known limits and release gates.
